The actor VOICING him should be FUNNY, LIKABLE, & SOUND LIKE A 14 YR OLD, but also possess the ability to quickly turn inward and show us a SOFT EMOTIONAL SIDE.” He can be a wise-***, but he isn’t particularly tough. Playful and quick-witted, but can also retreat. According to the logline, Ethan “sounds very typical as far as teenagers go. The studio is looking for voiceover talent 18 and older to play the role. Some of her other movies I liked are "God's Gift to Women", "Three on a Match" and "Blondie Johnson"Īlso if you want a run of films with a specific actor - try movies starring Enda May Oliver - she was a great comedic scene stealer - with a freakishly strong resemblance to Carol Burnett - and was awfully fun in most movies she was in - try "The Penguin Pool Murders", "Laugh & Get Rich", "The Saturday Night Kid" and "We're Rich Again"Īlso my favourite male actor was "William Haines" who was an absolute dreamboat."The 61st film in the Walt Disney Animation Studios canon has a tentative title of Searcher Clade. I have always found Joan to be epitome of what was a pre-code female character - witty, charming, adventurous, clear, sassy and gave great lip. I am still huge Joan Blondell fan and if anybody was the ask me would be my #1 lost film I would love to be recovered - it would be "Convention City". These days my list is much more diverse these days - especially since so many are on the internet - has a great collection of old movies! (I know 'Queen Kelly' is kinda more silent then pre-code - but I always though it still had many of the qualities of an essential pre-code movie)Īt that point I really had seen a few of the bigger ones that where available via Turner Classic Movies, DVDs or dare I say VHS! I just now successfully dug up a list of my favourite movies (then - 2005) from my long since moribund LiveJournal Account! I went through a massive pre-code fandom about 10-12 years ago. I love pre-code films, though I will admit my tastes do tend to go these days into the trashy train-wreck movies of that era :) I find pre-code train-wreck and trashy fun and hugely watchable (and super fun if you want to turn your brain off).
